Two speed motors allow the power to be adapted to the needs of the application and guarantee efficiency, significant energy savings and a consequent reduction in CO2 emissions.

Lafert offers a complete range of two speed motors, with shaft heights up to 160.
Dual polarity motors can be equipped with windings for constant torque or variable torque (quadratic torque) applications and can be used at low speed while reducing power consumption.

AM SERIES - pole changing: a two-speed motor that offers a ratio between the two speeds of 1:2, e.g. 2/4, 4/8, etc., also known as a Dahlander connection.
The internal coupling of the windings can be of two types: star or triangle connection.
These motors are designed for direct-on-line-starting and single-voltage.

AMV SERIES – separate windings: two speed motor with a ratio between the two speeds different from 1:2, e.g. 4/6, 6/8 ecc., realized with two separate windings.
